Lot’s ‘o Moolah 101

by Matt Trainer on July 29, 2008

. Believe it or not… Here’s the formula for success on the Internet: Traffic + Copywriting + Product = Lots ‘o moolah! This “formula” was originally coined by James Brausch as: Traffic + Copywriting + Product = Internet Business Success My version is WAY better. :) Let’s talk about the various parts of that formula. Traffic Traffic is silly term that really just means people. You need to be able get people to see your message in order to get any kind of success in a business. Most times it’s called advertising and/or promotion. Traffic is absolutely critical. You simply MUST have traffic in order to succeed on the Internet. Traffic is king. Without it you are sunk. It doesn’t matter how awesome your product is if nobody knows about it. You can have the best product in the world but without traffic (people) you won’t sell any. Finally! The Snowball can kiss my ass!

by Matt Trainer on July 28, 2008

Thanks to my buddy Mike Koenigs (Traffic Geyser dude) I finally can throw the stupid Snowball mic (by Blue Mics) in the trash! I don’t even want to sell it or give it away…it’s that much of a piece of crap. Don’t buy one…ever. I have yearned for a good quality USB mic for doing podcasts and videos for a long time. Finally I got a great recommendation from Mike about the Samson C01U. It’s freakin’ killer AND cheaper than the really horrible Snowball! I definitely recommend this mic. Make sure you get it with the podcast kit that includes a cool stand, cable, and software. Killer deal at only $150. A real mic for making videos… (Click to see full-size) New mic arrives!

Ready to rock! (Click to see full-size) Ready to rock!

Get one…immediately. Ciao, -Matt
