I got the chance to hang out with my buddies Amish and Jose at their Magic Bullet System event this weekend and it was awesome! I was also privileged enough to be invited onstage to speak. I’ve spent a better part of the day reflecting on the past year. It’s been a good year for me personally, spiritually, and financially. I made some great friends, grown closer to long term friends and ended up the year living in a million dollar+ home on the beach. It’s been a hell of a ride. Some bad things happened this year too including: -motorcycle stolen -wheels stolen off my car -hit and run side swipe -PayPal holding 100′s of thousand of dollars without explanation -merchant account shut down without notice, etc. But, the thing that has struck me the most, is that from each one of those situations I grew as a person, learned things about myself, and actually ended up PROSPERING in each and every case! It all boils down to how you manage your emotions, your belief system and your mind. Thinking about all this made me remember an interview I used to listen to quite often. Thanks to my buddy Mike Koenigs (Traffic Geyser dude) I finally can throw the stupid Snowball mic (by Blue Mics) in the trash! I don’t even want to sell it or give it away…it’s that much of a piece of crap. Don’t buy one…ever. I have yearned for a good quality USB mic for doing podcasts and videos for a long time. Finally I got a great recommendation from Mike about the Samson C01U. It’s freakin’ killer AND cheaper than the really horrible Snowball! I definitely recommend this mic.
