Luke’s printer Bruce was hit head on in by a drunk driver and while in the hospital his mail order business was still bringing in thousands of orders a day. All on autopilot.

Now that’s a holy grail! In case you missed me explaining what “holy grail” means click here to read it.

Here’s a video with Bruce telling his story.

Bruce is one of Luke’s students that got in on one of Luke’s “ready to go” projects.

Luke is officially retiring from the scene and he’s releasing one last “holy grail” project. It’s all tested and already making money. All you have to do is take over and run it.

Luke and I are doing a webinar covering the whole thing this Thursday at 5PM Pacific.

Because Luke is working one-on-one with those that get in on the project he has to keep the group small so it’s NOT BEING RECORDED NOR REPEATED. This really is a one time deal. Also note that this is NOT an automated webinar. It’s 100% live and real time.

Make sure to be there on Thursday because I’m dead serious about it not being recorded nor repeated.

You are either in or out.

Well guess what, traffic is not the holy grail.

(If you missed Part 2, get it here.)

So what is the “holy grail”? I’ll get to that in a minute. Traffic is really quite simple. (There’s the word again!) Only two ways to get it. Buy it or create it. Before we go any further I want to shatter another myth.

There is no such things as free traffic!

You pay for ALL traffic in some way. You either outright buy it or you pay for it with time or outsourcing. Now that you understand that part, all you need to know is either where to buy it or how to create it.

Where to buy it?

Obviously Google PPC has become too hard for most people and that’s mostly Google’s fault. They simlpy hate affiliates and only want to send their traffic to landing pages with full navigation and full disclosure of everything including price.

In short, their rules are not easy to get around and still convert well. Worse, they simply shut down your account if you can’t interpret their goofy wording in their “terms and conditions”. So they are out.

PPC on Yahoo/Bing is better but suffering from the same fate because they hate affiliates too.Jjust not as much. So they are out.

There a lot of other PPC networks out there that will work fine but I don’t want to get into that too much because in the end this email is not about some goofy “secret” traffic source. That sort of stuff is all hype and mostly big bags of B.S.

Media buys are tough for the beginner and can be a bit expensive when starting out unless you have been around the block. So that’s out for now.

“Creating” traffic is easier in some respects because there are no goofy rules to follow as mentioned and you can do it at will.

The downside is that most times its takes a while to see results and you have to do some work in the “create” part of it.

So obviously you can create traffic by blogging, SEO, social media, writing articles, etc. But all those take a LOT of time to do right (meaning not spammy) and the results can take months or years.

“But wait a second Matt, I though you said yesterday that traffic is the easy part?”

(I can read your thoughts)

Yes I did say that. But I didn’t say that ALL traffic was easy. So what do I do? I do a hybrid approach that’s both FAST and EASY.

I do Facebook PPC and press releases.

Facebook PPC is pretty good and getting better. I definite place to start. Just make sure you read their goofy rules too. They do have rules but so far they are pretty good with helping you get a campaign up fast and don’t just shut your account off because you don’t understand them.

The targeting is great and clicks are VERY cheap if you do it right. They are not super fond of affiliates either but you can get around that by keeping the traffic inside Facebook.

Meaning, just drive the traffic to a Fan page. Simple and the clicks are cheap. Just do an iFrame of whatever affiliate thing you want to promote but don’t be hypey and don’t be spammy.

Press releases are the perfect traffic source because they are a hybrid of “paid” and “created” traffic and with it you get SEO done almost automatically. You do have to write them but it’s simple. Just have to consistently do it at least once a week. We do them every day.

Go to OnlinePRNews.com to see the tutorial on writing PR so you can follow the format correctly.

That’s really it guys. Spend about $100 or so on Facebook PPC to test the offer and then do press releases to get the bigger, better “organic” traffic. Simple. Simple. Simple.

So what’s the holy grail all about then?

Obviously the problem with all this “easy” and “simple” stuff is that there is testing involved.

If you are still a “Type 1″ person as talked about in previous emails in this series then you won’t know what to do when a test fails to produce the expected results.

So the holy grail is fully tested and proven traffic and offers that already make money with that traffic. AAHHHH!

Yeah that’s a tough one because NO ONE wants to do all the work of testing and then just give you their money machine. That’s why it’s the holy grail. It exists but good luck getting it.

Well I’m about to change all that.

I have many tested and proven traffic sources and offers that convert well with that traffic. They make money right now. Good money.

I’m going to give you the chance to get in on those. These are all turnkey and ready to go. You just get in and drive.

One is a fast easy route, you just pay to get in. One is slower but “free” route. (More on that in a bit.)

The fast, easy route will be revealed in a live webinar this Thursday. I’ll be hosting a webinar with my old friend Luke Jaten.

Luke is famous for creating multiple projects that have produced $50k per week or more in profits VERY fast using simple postcards. Those of you that have been following me for a while will remember that he and I launched the Postcard Traffic system back in 2009. That course was a huge success and many people went on to make A LOT of money with it.

Several people were able to quit their jobs and make more money than they ever dreamed possible. They key was that they got in on Luke’s “holy grail”. He gave access to his projects that were already making money.

They simply had to get in and drive.

Unfortunately Luke has decided to “retire” and he’s allowing access to his last money-making mail order project so he can quit running it. He’s gonna detail it live this Thursday at 5PM Pacific.

It’s a ONE TIME WEBINAR and it won’t be recorded or repeated EVER. You are either in or you are out.

What Luke is giving access to is worth a LOT of money and he’s working one on one with each person that gets in on it so it’s gotta be kept small. Last time he did this he created several multi-million dollar businesses for his students. All they had to do was step in and run them. He’s doing it one final time this Thursday.

Click here now to go register.

Remember, this won’t be recorded and won’t be repeated ever again. So if you are a Type 1 person and just want to be told what to do each day AND you want the holy grail without having to do all the setup and testing, then you MUST be there on this webinar on Thursday.

Ok, enough about that. You get it.

The slower and “free” route is going to be detailed in a later email but this gist is that you will be able to access to my “holy grail” projects for basically free after you prove yourself to me by doing some work and jumping through some hoops.

The projects I’m giving you access to are right now making some people $10k a month all the way up to $100k/mo and more. The testing is already done. The offers already make money and the traffic sources are tested. You just have to get in and drive.

Details in later posts.

Talk soon,
Matt
P.S. Make sure you don’t miss this Thursday’s webinar with me and Luke Jaten. It will be awesome. Even if you aren’t going to get in on Luke’s turnkey “holy grail” mail order project then you should still be there.

Luke is a master teacher and will be delivering some amazing content on how to do postcard traffic and mail order projects the right way.

Go here to get registered for this Thursday at 5PM Pacific.

Don’t miss out.

I’m not kidding when I say IT WON’T BE RECORDED AND WON’T BE REPEATED.

Register now.

Sad but true.

If you don’t have your head screwed on right it’s near impossible to get out of your own way and really succeed. Fortunately that’s a pretty simple problem to solve. Just know that “simple” and “easy” are not the same things.

In my last post – Part 2 – I gave you access to some simple tools to remove all fears and procrastination in order to get your mindset right.

If you missed it go here.

I’ve delayed in posting Part 3 on purpose to hopefully inspire you to actually DO the exercises in Part 2. Without doing them you WILL NOT get the best results! That’s a fact.

Assuming you’ve done that, let’s move on to Part 3.

In this post I’ll start to map out the plan and give you some ideas to get started.

The goal with this series is to get you AS FAST AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE to making AT LEAST six figures a year. Then it’s all about scaling.

OK back to the two types of people:

Type 1 – Needs to be told what to do

Type 2 – Self-directed

Problem is that no matter what, you HAVE TO start at Type 1 when learning a new skill or trying to change your life. You simply don’t know what to do until you get some experience under your belt.

For Type 1 people trying to make money for the first time on the Internet or trying to create a REAL freedom business everything seems daunting.

And it is. But I have a solution. More on that in a minute.

Type 2 people listen up!

Provided your mindset is right, success on the Internet is a really simple formula:

Traffic + Converting offer = Success

It really is that simple. The only difference between millions of dollars and failure is scaling that formula smartly. That’s it.

There are all kinds of things that people get twisted up on inside the “traffic” part and the “converting offer” part but those really are the only two pieces that matter.

Good news is that traffic is simple AND easy. You just buy it or create it. I’ll talk about that in future emails.

TRAFFIC IS THE EASIEST PART SO DON’T GET SO HUNG UP ON IT!

For some reason people have this feeling that traffic is the “sexy” part or something. Traffic doesn’t make money. Only a converting offer does. Traffic only SCALES the money.

I can send you ten million clicks of the best traffic in the world but if your offer is shit then you just have shit.

Once you really get this you will quickly realize that all you really need to focus on is a converting offer. That’s simple AND easy too. There are millions of them.

A converting offer can be anything but in the end it’s just finding a WANT (not need) that people have and fill it.

What do people want? Again, simple.

They want to be feel wanted, feel attractive and to be fulfilled or entertained. Find offers that fill those areas. Simple.

Lose weight.
Get healthy.
Make money.
Be entertained (movies, books, video games, Kindle, etc.).

You can make millions in ANY of those areas.

An offer can be your own products or affiliate products. It doesn’t matter.

OK wait, I hear a lot of you already, “We already know this stuff, why so basic? Where’s the meat?”

THIS IS THE MEAT. Basics are all you need. So many get so worked up over the latest shiny object that they can’t see the forest for the trees.

MAKING MILLIONS AND/OR CREATING A FREEDOM BUSINESS IS SIMPLE PEOPLE! ALL YOU NEED IS THE BASICS, THEN SCALE!

If you aren’t where you want to be then you simply are focusing on the wrong things. It’s that simple.

Mindset, converting offer, traffic in that order is all you need to focus on.

Finding a converting offer seems so hard for so many people but it’s ridiculously easy. Just got to Clickbank, Amazon or any affiliate network and you’ll find all kinds of converting offers.

Clickbank has gotten really strict these days so the garbage is slowly being weeded out and you can find good stuff to promote. Focus on “high gravity” offers with a high affiliate payout.

On Amazon look for the “hot” products (they list these for you already) and filter by products over $200 and promote those.

On affiliate networks look for broad market products that are evergreen (weight loss and beauty stuff is good).

Just pick one that you have some interest in and promote it. I have LOTS of friends and acquaintances that make HUGE money doing exactly what I just told you to do in the last 4-5 paragraphs so no excuses please.

But what does “promote” mean? Traffic. I’ll cover that in the next post.

All the traffic you’ll ever need. In droves.

Talk soon,
Matt
P.S. Notice throughout this post I used the word “simple” a lot. That’s on purpose. I want to really drill into your head that YOU CAN DO THIS…AND DO IT BIG!

IT’S SIMPLE!

But you have to start somewhere so to make this all real easy for everyone I’m just gonna tell you what to do and then you can move to becoming a “Type 2″ person after you really “get it”.

To help with that look at this video.

It’s an video that should humble and inspire you at the same time. It’s the true story of a school teacher that lost her job and then within one month made more than $11,000 and launched a new business from home. She doesn’t even need a job anymore.

$11,000 happens to be A LOT MORE than a teacher’s monthly salary in case you don’t know. Best part, she had no idea what she was doing. She just followed the steps I just gave you and had a plan.

She started at Type 1 and she’s now a Type 2.

In the next post I’ll tell you how you can exactly do what she has done AND EVEN BETTER.

Check out her video here.

But behind the scenes he’s being directed to make decisions that will end up with the best outcome for him. The goal being to take him outside his comfort zone.

It’s a crazy movie and you should definitely see it of you haven’t. The main character is a very successful business man that has his life all planned out only to be turned completely upside down by “The Game”.

The point I want to make is that there are two types of people in this world. Those that need to be directed – aka “told what to do” – and there are those that are self-starters (don’t need to be told what to do).

I think most people fluctuate between the two types depending on experience, motivation, interest, etc. but in the end there are only two types.

Some people stay one type their whole life. They never step outside their comfort zone because of some fear.

Fear comes in many facets but none are real. I’ll talk more about that in a bit. In the end you are either making decisions to direct your life or they are being made for you.

Which camp do you want to be in?

All that being said, I have a very ambitious plan to get EVERYONE reading this into the camp that directs their own life without fear and acts BOLDLY to achieve whatever they want in life. It’s pretty simple to do. Just think about what you want to do, be, see or achieve and then remove all blocks to those goals. 99.999% of those blocks are just fear.

Fear is NOTHING but a story you are telling yourself to justify inaction.

Seriously. Read that sentence again slowly and really think about it.

Fear is NOTHING but a story you are telling yourself to justify inaction.

To completely remove every fear you’ve ever had read this chapter of a new book I’m writing. Once fear is gone then it’s all about taking the steps one by one.

What steps you ask? That’s pretty simple too; You just back into it. That’s also covered in the chapter I just wrote too. Get it here.

OK, now what?

A plan.

My plan is to turn my whole business upside down. I’m switching from a completely for-profit model to a partial-profit model. “What’s that mean weirdo?”, you say. Glad you asked.

It means that after spending millions of dollars on dumb shit and pleasing only myself I’ve found that I’m left with a lack of fulfillment. Yeah I’ve had all the best the world can offer from private jets, luxury homes, exotic cars, etc. But nothing brings me satisfaction other than helping others.

So, after much thought I’ve decided to make a radical move.

I know after much testing that all I need is about $600,000 per year to do anything I ever want to do. Anything above that gets wasted and makes me an idiot. (Seriously)

So, I’m changing everything. My goal is make 100 MILLION DOLLARS, and then give nearly all of it away. Yep, all of it (minus my $600k a year). And I want to give a huge chunk of it to my students and coaching clients. The rest will go to charity.

Crazy? Hell yes it is. But I believe this can work.

But we gotta start somewhere. So you gotta start with mindset.

Mindset is EVERYTHING. Without the right mindset you can’t even take the first step. So start by getting my “fear removal” tool here. Study that, take action and then you’ll have all you need to go to the next step. The next step is obviously start with a solid money making system.

I’ll get into that in the next post.
Talk soon,
Matt
P.S. Don’t forget to check out Matt Wadsworth’s world record attempt and help him get the word out by posting it on Facebook etc.

His site is here at MakingTheJump.com

P.P.S. Get the chapter I wrote here to work on step one. Get your mind right and remove fear and procrastination forever.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PART LIGHTLY!!!

See you in the next post.

Not just succeed. But to really do it BIG and change lives.

There are many things I’ve come up with but the overarching problem in the end is that Internet marketing has too many variables. There’s simply too much to do and too
much to learn to be successful quickly.

So most people get frustrated from lack of results and quit or keep searching for the latest, greatest shiny object (product launch) to “solve” the problem.

This just makes the problem worse and creates more debt or “investment” in this crazy online marketing business.

It’s a sort of a death spiral.

Einstein is famous for saying that doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. I certainly agree with that but how do we stop it? There must be an answer…

Good news is that I’ve found it. And I’m going to reveal the whole secret over the next few days in this series.

All free. No optin. Nothing to buy. Just answers.

And help.

In this first installment I want to inspire you so you can first have vision.

Without vision you will forever fail.

///–Start inspiration—////

So imagine trying to succeed online with all the problems I’ve mentioned already AND being physically handicapped.

Worse, imagine being BLIND! I mean shit, at least I can see perfectly well to write this email and use a mouse! Well, my buddy Matt Wadsworth has been wildly successful online and can’t even see his computer.

In fact, he’s never seen anything…

…EVER.

He was born blind.

Many of you may have heard his story or
have seen him speak but wait til you see
what he’s up to now.

He’s actually creating a documentary movie
about him going for a world record.

What world record?

This will blow you away. He’s going for the world record motorcycle jump!!!

Yep, he’s insane. He can’t even see the ramp he’s trying to jump from!

You have to see the first video about the attempts and training he’s done already. You can see it here or go to www.MakingTheJump.com

He’s training with one of my childhood heroes, Micky Dymond. I raced motorcross when I was a kid and always looked up to Micky. He was a rock star.

I crashed a lot and broke a few bones and was never very good so retired in my early 20′s because I started to hate getting hurt. Now here comes Matt Wadsworth and is doing what I got scared to do AND HE’S BLIND!

Micky Dymond was one of the world’s greatest racers and I’m jealous I never got to train with him like Matt is.

So, this is your inspiration moment for today. Watch the video about Matt training to make the jump here.

Talk soon,
Matt
P.S. If you can’t get inspired by a blind dude trying to do a world record motorcycle jump then you have ice water in your veins or your momma hated you or something.

Matt is donating 100% of the profits from the documentary to charity so please support him in his journey.

See the videos here:
www.MakingTheJump.com

Tomorrow’s email will reveal the first part of my answer for how to crack the code and succeed huge online. And I’m gonna help you do it, 100% free of charge.

It’s my way of giving back for this holiday season and I’ll finally reveal what I’m doing behind the scenes to GIVE AWAY ridiculous amounts of money to people like you.

Yep you read that right.

More tomorrow….

///—End Inspiration—///

On September 1, 2011, Sophie was officially diagnosed with a stage 4 bone cancer called Ewings Sarcoma that had metastasized to her lungs. This cancer is extremely rare, greater than one in a million, and even more rare in young girls.

This site has been established to have a place to keep friends and family of Sophie up to date on her progress.

Sophie is insured thankfully, however, there are a tremendous amount of expenses that are “not covered” not the lease of which is the challenge of day to day living as both parents have essentially stopped working to focus on Sophie’s care. In Addition, we are making arrangements to have Sophie be seen be the top experts in the field, from places like Dana Farber in Boston, St Jude in Tennessee and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, to get the best information we can for Sophie.

Your donations will go directly to supporting Sophie and the family expenses associated with her recovery.

Her treatment has many different disciplines, from chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, integrative medicine, diet, psychology, acupuncture and lots and lots of willingness to believe that whatever higher power that exists will indeed agree with everyone else who has met Sophie that she should be kept around to share her joy of living and loving life.

The roadmap for Sophie’s recovery at this point is about 40 weeks.

Many thanks for your donations and tireless support – it does not go unnoticed in the least and there is no text, email or phone call that goes unappreciated – even if it goes unanswered. Thank you!

In this business you have ultimate freedom.

You are the owner. You can come and go at will. You work from home. The business mostly runs itself.

You can pretty much do whatever you want, whenever you want, without even thinking about the money.

Sounds awesome right?

Here’s the weird part…

I have a close friend that was in that exact situation…

AND HE GAVE IT UP.

Yep, he got so overwhelmed with frustration he quit.

To outsiders looking in it seems insane. Why would someone who just did 7 figures in a year just quit?

What could possibly drive frustration to such a level that they would turn their back on a hugely profitable business?

Until recently I would have been asking the same questions. But now I see the answer clearly.

It’s quite simple actually.

More on that in a minute.

In the last several emails I sent you I’ve told you stories of various levels of success and failure in a few different Internet marketing businesses.

———

In case you missed those, here links to the five parts
Part 1 – Why you should get punched in the face…
Part 2 – Punched on the face (Part 2)
Part 3 – Jane gets punched in the face
Part 4 – Geeks hate New Year’s Eve
Part 5 – 16 Year Old Runs Billion Dollar Company?

———

Those stories led to me explaining how critical systems are to success. Yet VERY FEW in Internet marketing teach or actually use systems.

Systems are so critical that I firmly believe you have VERY little chance of succeeding without them.

Let me put that a stronger way:

WITHOUT SYSTEMS YOUR CHANCES OF FAILING ARE 90% OR GREATER!

But there’s one small thing you can do that will explode your chances of success to almost 100%…

…EVEN WITHOUT A SYSTEM!

Let me explain.

A couple months ago I had some hardcore realizations.

I realized my business was driving me crazy.
I realized that I had started to dread getting up in the morning.
I realized I couldn’t sleep because of stress.
I realized I was only doing things because of the money.
I realized I had to quit was I was doing.

But guess what…I had just generated well over $1 million in just a few months, most of it profit.

Yep, once again the story that started this email is about me. (Man am I conceited or what?)

Here’s the worst part of the story:

I couldn’t figure out why I was so frustrated!

This just created a frustration loop that led to even more frustration! AAAAAHHHH!

After much thought and study I finally figured it out.

This leads me to revealing the one tiny thing you can do to almost guarantee success even without the systems I’ve been teaching about.

Hold on here it is…

I realized I didn’t like what I was doing.

Yep that’s the secret. Just like what you do.

Yes systems can replace people but do they create happy people?

Like the 16-year-old that works in Burger King, systems are what drives that business to billions a year.

But how many of those 16-year-olds actually like the job? Very, very few…if any.

So Burger King is FORCED to create systems or they would quickly fail. No system can force happiness and contentment.

So where does that leave us?

At first it’s quite frustrating to realize you are only living your life for money.

Especially when there is no quick easy answer.

Here’s the good news. I developed a system that revealed exactly how to cure my problem.

It showed me the EXACT steps I needed to take to change my business around. The system showed me what I should be doing that will make me happy and fulfilled.

Wanna know the best part? It ALSO showed me how to make a TON of money!

So now I’ve completely restructured my business. I’m doing what I love to do AND IT STILL MAKES HUGE MONEY!

Guess what will happen? Because I’m now loving what I do, I will most likely make even MORE money than before.

In fact, I’m certain of it. Happiness fuels success.

The cool part for you is that I’m gonna show you the exact system I developed that reveals all these things.

You’ll simply fill out a few questions on a survey. Then my system will show you exactly what you should be doing in Internet marketing to not only make a ton of money but also be incredibly fulfilled.

Once you have those exact steps to take you can start working the other systems around your passion.

I really feel like this is the holy grail of systems development. It’s that powerful.

In the last couple emails I mentioned some new training I’m launching that’s all about systems.

This new tool is the starting point.

You see my “university” is not some cookie cutter training that tries to work for everyone. Just like a real university, there are different course paths to take because people are different.

What would happen if universities only had one course path? Failure.

My training conforms to you and who you are. What you love. What drives you. Your passions.

Once we know those things we THEN teach you the course you need to take to nearly guarantee success.

For now, there’s only one way in, you have to qualify and then you have to prove yourself and yes there will be a tuition cost.

WAIT!!!!!

Don’t leave now what you just heard there’s a tuition cost.

I’m gonna do something unheard of…

I’m gonna REFUND ALL OF YOUR TUITION!

Yep, you read right. When you reach success with the training I will refund all your tuition costs.

Why would I do this?

For one I want to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that this works.

Second, I want my successful students to partner with me.

So, once you complete the training and meet the goals of the training and actually become successful, you will become my partner.

I will refund your tuition and we will work together to scale out your business using every resource I have.

As mentioned before the first qualification step is to buy the Magic Bullet System 2.0 through my link.

Click here to watch the sales video that covers that MBS2.0 does. It’s really quite amazing.

Make sure to clear your cookies and cache before buying to make sure I get credit. If I don’t get credit you don’t get into my training.

So, yes I turned my back on a 7-figure business. But I created a new one based on the output of my new system!

Let me help you create your own perfect 7-figure business.

Clear your cookies then click here to watch Amish’s new video.

You can get in on the early bird list and get on the right track before everyone else.

Talk soon,
Matt
P.S. If you already own the Magic Bullet and are getting 2.0 for free then contact me on my blog or email me and we can work something out.

Last email I wrote about the power of systems. In case you missed it you can read that here.

Everything in life needs some sort of system in order to succeed.

-Health care needs systems or people die.
-Education needs systems or people fail to learn.
-Business needs systems or money is lost.
-Internet marketing needs systems or you will fail.

Last email I promised to start explaining systems that produce results.

First off you need to know what type of person you are. This is because if you don’t start on the path that fits you, you will fail. No matter how good the system.

So we need to start with some very basic stuff.

Like who are you?
What drives you?
What are you good at?
What is hard for you?

Without knowing these things you won’t know how to proceed. People are different so one system that works well for one person will not work for another.

In my upcoming “university” we are going to craft systems just for YOU and WHO YOU ARE.

Here are some examples:
- If you are detailed and math oriented you should be doing
CPA afffiliate marketing and media buys.

- If you are a people person then you should be doing high
end blogs and building your “celebrity.”

- If you are a quick action person you need to be doing
quick hit marketing to produce results fast. (Social, video
and CPV are examples)

- If you deep and analytical you need to be doing SEO
for niche blogs.

There are excellent systems for all these things and more.

But you MUST know where your interests lie and what you are good at (which is usually what drives you).

My “university” will set you up with a series of systems that work with who you are and force you to succeed.

In order to get into my systems you need to be accepted and you need to take some action.

The first action step is to join the Magic Bullet system being launched by Amish Shah.

He just released a new video that gives away all his private traffic sources.

Check that out here

In the next post I’ll show you a simple system that will FORCE you to think differently AND raise your income level to heights you can only dream of now.

Stay tuned,
Matt “I Love Systems” Trainer
P.S. Don’t forget to check out Amish’s new video here and get in on the private traffic sources he’s giving away.

Palms sweating. Shuffling from one foot to the other like a 3-year-old that needs to pee.

Nervously waiting my turn for an interview. This is all new to me and I’m scared.

Looking back it seems silly. After all, a job at Burger King is not hard to get nor very special.
But at 16 it seemed huge and after all, it was my first job.

I was so excited to get the job. Not only would it be my own real money for the first time in my life.
It was also a brand new Burger King that no one had worked in before.

Somehow that seemed awesome to me.

With great fortune I landed the job! (Tongue in cheek moment.)

I forget now the real name of the job but in the end, I was “chief burger maker.”

I was made chief because I scored one point better on the training test than other pimply-faced 16 year olds like myself.

The tests were grueling and very exacting. Every step laid out EXACTLY how to make a burger.

EXACTLY how to ketchup to put on.
EXACTLY how MUCH ketchup to add.
EXACTLY how to warm the buns using a steamer.
EXACTLY how to wrap the burgers.
…etc., etc., etc.

In this lies the secret to everything I’ve been writing about in the “Punched In The Face” series.

/——————-SIDEBAR———————/

To understand the context you need to read the first four parts:

Part 1 is here
Part 2 is here
Part 3 is here
Part 4 is here

/—————-END SIDEBAR—————/

In the first parts of this series of stories I shared the various struggles of Joe, Jane and Jake.

Joe “The Builder” was struggling with enjoying life and making money.

Jane “The Writer” was struggling with being fulfilled and being in the public spotlight.

Jake “The Geek” was struggling with not making money even though he KNEW he was smarter and better than others.

Here’s the interesting part; These stories were all about me.

Each character represents parts of me in my marketing and business building career.

So all the stories are very real. So real in fact, I fought back tears many times in writing those stories.

I got tons of feedback on my blog about these stories. Every submission had very real truths and great suggestions for our cast of characters.

While all the submissions were good and hit all around the secret, they missed the REAL secret that has turned everything around.

The secret that all the characters were missing is one simple word:
SYSTEMS

Yes mindset is huge.
Yes focus is massive.
Yes mentors are very powerful.
Yes more learning is great.
Yes mastermind groups help a ton.
Yes software helps automate things.

But NONE of these things work without systems.

How do you think very green 16-year-old kids can run an entire Burger King franchise?

SYSTEMS. PERIOD.

Big fast food chains are run almost ENTIRELY by VERY young people that have no idea how to run a business.

Yet they succeed.

It’s because the SYSTEMS are in place to FORCE them to do the right things.

SYSTEMS force them to take the right steps.
SYSTEMS literally FORCE them to make a profit!

Let that sink in for a minute….
…
…

FORCE THEM TO MAKE PROFIT!

It’s all in the systems.

It works the same in Internet marketing, real estate, diet and fitness, anything!
If you have a system that’s built to force you to succeed, you can’t fail.

Think about a university. A university is nothing more than a series of SYSTEMS. Extremely high percentages of people that attend universities actually graduate.

All because of systems.

It’s also the reason having a personal trainer works better than just a gym membership for getting in shape.

It’s a built in system.

So if 16-year-old kids can run multi-billion dollar burger chains, why do only 1-3% of internet marketers succeed?

You already know the answer…
THERE ARE NO SYSTEMS!

No systems to FORCE you down the right path.
No systems to correct you when you veer off.
No systems to hold you accountable.
No systems to reward you when you reach goals.
No systems that make sure you make a profit.

The thing that’s turned everything around for me is systems. I’ve put in place many systems that literally force me to succeed.

They tell me the exact next step to take.
They tell me the exact adjustment to make if I’m failing.
They tell me when I’ve succeeded.
They tell me how to adjust.

That last point is the key thing that’s missing from every internet marketing course there is.

THEY DON’T TEACH HOW TO ADJUST!

There’s no SYSTEM to tell what to do when things don’t work as planned! The good news is that with the right systems you know automatically when and HOW to adjust.

So, I’m sure you are wondering…”How the hell do we create these systems ourselves?”

Well, I’m gonna teach you.

Better yet, I’m gonna plug you into my exact systems that have single-handedly turned my business around.
The same systems that will generate at LEAST $10 million for me in 2011 alone.

I’m creating a university model:
- You will have instructors
- You will take tests
- You will have homework
- You will be held accountable
- You will be taught how to adjust
- You will be FORCED to succeed!

YOU WILL BE FORCED TO SUCCEED!

Just like a university, there will be rigorous entrance requirements.

AND NO YOU CAN’T JUST BUY YOUR WAY IN!!!!

This is going to be very exclusive and intense. We WILL kick people out that don’t pass muster.

You will have to apply, take entrance entrance exams and be interviewed.
You will have to prove to me and my staff that you are serious and won’t be wasting our time.

I’ve invested heavily in building this “university” and the systems and I won’t let them be taken for granted.

Ok so if you are interested, the first task is to clear all your cookies.

Then click this link and optin for the video.

You see, Amish and Jay’s Magic Bullet software will be a heavy part of the tools we use for the first “university.”
The Magic Bullet system is integrated in our systems to assure our success.

I’ll be sending applications for the “university” after the Magic Bullet 2.0 launch is over.

With this first round of the “university,” only people that have bought Amish’s Magic Bullet 2.0 course will be allowed to apply.

This is because you have to be a member of the Magic Bullet 2.0 System to use our systems.

So clear your cookies and then click this link to get started.

Watch the video. It’s great content anyway.

In my next email I’ll reveal EXACTLY what the “university” will be teaching.
Stay tuned,
Matt “Systems Saved Me” Trainer
P.S. The $1000 “Get Punched In The Face” contest got crazy in the last couple days!

I literally kicked out the point leader because I thought he was spamming!
Turns out he was just working his butt off. Imagine that!

So here are the final winners:
$1000 – foxlobo
$1000 – mrjaredjames
$500 Apple iPad – Killa

(See the image on the right if you don’t know what I’m talking about.)

It’s like a language to the people that have learned to read it.

This makes a lot of sense to guys like Jake. He’s a stereotypical geek.
He loves numbers. Programming code makes sense to him.
He loves movies like the Matrix. He feels like it’s a world he can relate to.

But what he can’t relate to at all is New Year’s Eve.
He thinks picking an arbitrary date to celebrate the calendar is dumb.
“Don’t even get me started on new year resolutions!” Jake told me the other day.

Jake also hates dealing with people.
He hates social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
He’d much prefer tweaking his programs to make them more efficient.
(Jake is not too fun at parties as you can imagine.)

Jake is also an “Ad Geek.”
He loves tweaking and testing new banners, demographics, landing pages and traffic sources.
He’s an affiliate marketer.

He’s constantly tracking everything.
Pouring over the numbers to see what’s working and what’s not.

The most successful affiliate marketers out there are the “ad geek” type.
They sit in front of their computer all day long.
Loving every minute of it.

Many of these guys make ridiculous amounts of money. Some even do $50,000 a day or more.
Seriously.

You might have guessed that Jake is one of these guys.

But you’d be wrong.

Jake loses money pretty much every time he tries something.
No matter what he does he just can’t figure out this affiliate marketing thing.
He works as a contract programmer to support his affiliate marketing “habit”.
Nearly all his money goes into it. But he loses every time.

He KNOWS he just as smart or smarter than most people doing well with affiliate marketing.
He KNOWS he works harder than ALL of them…combined.
He KNOWS he really understands the systems needed.
He KNOWS he automation tools are better than others.
He KNOWS his tracking and numbers are dead on.
He KNOWS his spreadsheets would make any geek start foaming at the mouth.

“I’m so frustrated! I can’t figure this sh*t out!” he screams at me over the phone.

He continues, “This stuff makes me feel so dumb. What the hell is the difference that makes those other guys so much money?”

-It’s not smarts.
-It’s not work ethic.
-It’s not taking action.
-It’s not more knowledge.
-It’s not more automation.
-It’s not better technology.
-It’s not even more money.

Jake has just been punched in the face.

Welcome to Part 4 of my “Getting Punched In Face” series.

/——————-Sidebar—————–/

In case you missed Parts1-3 of this series and don’t know what the hell I am talking about:
Part 1 is here
Part 2 is here
Part 3 is here

/————— End Sidebar————–/

Jake is suffering a very common problem.

A lot of people attempt to do affiliate marketing. The lure of “easy” money working from home is very powerful.

But as you already know, only 1-3% actually succeed.
Less than that go on to earn millions.

Yet the drone of easy money, get-rich-quick, push-button solutions goes on.

There is a simple formula many have talked about that solves all this.
The story goes that you only need three things.
1. Traffic
2. Copy
3. Product

The formula:
Traffic + Copy + Product = Success

Yet, how can so many smart, hard working people fail at something so “simple”?

How can a super geek like Jake fail at something he completely understands?

How can Jane “The Writer” from Part 3 feel so down even though she’s doing what she loves?

How did Joe “The Builder” turn around his failing business?

The answer to all is very simple.

I’ll finally reveal the secret in the next episode.

Stay tuned…
Matt “Not So Geeky” Trainer
P.S. The $1000 contest is in full swing with many people vying for those top prizes.

Dazed and confused. All Jane could do was stare at the screen in amazement.

She just got punched in the face.

“Are people really that bitter?,” she asks herself.

“What could I have possibly done to upset this person so much?” she wonders.

It’s painful. Stings just as much as a kick in the gut. Hateful, mean-spirited words thrown like rocks.
And at someone they don’t even know!

Jane starts thinking, “People just get weird when it comes to money and success.
Seems to get worse as the economy goes downhill.”

That’s the trouble with exposing yourself to the Internet Marketing world.
It’s a double-edged sword.

Some people love you. Some people hate you.

Somehow no matter how many people love you, it only takes one person to ruin your day.

One rude comment posted on a blog. One bad review on a forum somewhere.
Even the nicest people with the best intentions get flamed.

It’s just part of the game. People are people.

Jane wonders if she can really do this.

It’s been a huge thing for her to put herself out there. To become a leader.

Jane has always been shy. Confident in herself but not comfortable in groups.

God forbid she ever had to get in front of a video camera!
Or worse…a live audience!

Yet in the last year she’s done both those things and more.

The fear and shyness have subsided a bit. But all it takes is one unhappy blog commenter to get self doubt revved up again.

“If they only knew the real me!” she screams inside.

Jane is a writer. Not world class. But not bad either.

She likes sharing stories and commenting on things going in the Internet marketing world.

She likes connecting with people. Building relationships. Though from behind a computer monitor.

Jane has had some success with some eBooks she’s written.
She’s built up a decent sized email list.
She’s even done a product launch that netted her six figures.

All in all, not too bad.

But she’s not fulfilled. She longs for more.

She started sharing that fact with readers on her blog last week.
Most people are supportive. But a few have been very mean and hateful.

The latest punch hurt…bad. Her husband tries to help but he was speechless.
He can see her in pain but there’s nothing he could do except listen.

So what’s the issue?

There are a million ways to make money on the Internet.

The problem is that there are a MILLION ways to make money on the Internet.

It’s hard to know what to do and what to focus on.
So most don’t focus on anything.

The learning curve is steep and the noise from so many “gurus” is crazy.
The “shiny object” syndrome is the worst thing.

Jumping from product to product. Launch to launch.

Most people never make a dime.
Worse, the majority only lose money.

The success rate is around 1-3% depending on who you ask.

If this were a university it would be shut down from such poor results.

So, Jane is in the minority.

As the economy gets worse, as more product launches happen, more people are getting bitter.

They get even more frustrated when Jane says things like, “Its simple to make money on the Internet.”

Fact is, it IS simple to make money on the Internet.
What’s hard is the where, when and how. Even harder is focus.

So they lash out at well-meaning Jane.

Personally I blame the entire Internet marketing industry.
We’ve failed our customers. It’s sad and shameful.

Of course that’s easy to say but what’s the solution?

The cool thing is that the solution is elegantly simple.

In a future email I’ll reveal the solution.

To be continued…

Stay tuned,
P.S. OK so I’m forced to manage this contest the right way. People need to know where they stand.

If you missed Part 1 of “Punched In The Face,” I posted it on my blog here

This email is Part 2.

Meet Joe “The Builder.”

Joe is a smart guy. Nice family. Beautiful wife. Great kids.

He works hard as an engineer by day. At night, after the kids go to bed, he builds websites.

I call him “The Builder” because he is very technical. He jumps into technical tasks with no fear.

He shies away from learning things like copy writing, direct response, and list building. He just doesn’t “get” those things so he builds.

He likes autoblogs. (Semi-automated minisites designed to rank in the search engines and bring in small money for each.)

He builds and builds because he believes the more he builds the more money he makes. He averages $3 per day for each blog. So he reasons that if he gets 1000 of these built he will make about $1 million per year. He understands SEO and does some outsourcing for content, link building, etc.

He’s very organized and has a nice system in place but there’s a problem. He’s not making enough money.

After a year of working on this, he’s not even close to where he wants to be. He can’t even quit his job yet. Even with several hundred sites, the money is just there.

He’s finding that his blogs don’t maintain their search engine rankings so he has to work on them constantly.

To make it worse, his outsourced team keeps messing up. They keep trying to cheat and put up bad content. The auto-posted content is not edited or monitored closely enough.

As more blogs get built he’s finding the quality dropping and his costs going up. His team is not working out the way he thought it would.

The links they build are not “sticking”. The automated linking tools just don’t work like they used to. Even when getting first page rankings he’s not getting the traffic all the keyword research tools told him he would get.

Joe is frustrated.

He’s painstakingly researched tons of niches like toenail fungus, hair loss, how to get pregnant, hemorrhoid treatments…

…and 100′s more.

All in the search for long tail search phrases he can rank easily for in the search engines. In the end, he doesn’t like it and longs for something of higher value and of course to make more money.

What is it that Joe is missing?

It’s simple…quality. Joe has bought into the “push button” myth.

Don’t get me wrong, this strategy does work. Many people do very well with it. The “myth” is that this is a long term sustainable business that brings in “push button” millions.

It’s just not that simple.

Joe has been punched in the face.

Joe’s first lesson is that to hit BIG goals, you need to start with a strategy that will get you there.

Quality is what creates value. Not automation. More automation does not mean more quality. Long term value is what makes millions.

Another lesson Joe learned is that scaling is not linear. To get to his elusive $1 million per year he needs a much larger staff. He needs better management and since he’s not a “people person,” he’s stuck.

So Joe has some choices to make. Should he keep building and get up to enough monthly “automated” income to quit his job.

This is cool except that he has a very small chance of ever getting to $1 million per year so he’ll have to settle. Or should he stop what he’s doing, keep his current blogs and move to a strategy that can achieve both his big goals.

Well, Joe made a change. A simple but powerful one.

He’s now on a path to do over $10 million per year! And the best part is that he was able to quit his job within 60 days of making the simple change.

In a future post I’ll reveal what Joe did.

To be continued….

Stay tuned for Part 3,
Matt
P.S. OK so the $1000 contest starts now.
Sign up for the contest below or here

I’m giving away $1000 to simply read my emails and follow up with some simple tasks. The person or persons who perform all the tasks and give the best answers will get $1000 each.

Here’s task one:
Tell me what you would do in Joe’s place.

How should he react?
How should he make changes?
Should he buy more courses?
Should he get a mentor?
What change do you think he made?

Put your responses in the Facebook comments section below.

After you’ve done that, click the Facebook “Like” button and share the post with your friends on Facebook.

While I would normally be chiming in on people’s comments, I’m not going to this time because of the contest. Please don’t be offended.

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s email.

To be continued…

Exhausted. Breathing heavy. Ears buzzing from pain.

Sitting on the edge of the ring. Slumped over. Head hung low.

My sweat-drenched brow dripping. Forming a puddle between my feet.

I’m on the verge of tears…and I love it.

My right eye is almost swollen shut. My left thigh hurts Like hell. My lungs are burning. My vision blurry.

But maybe for the first time ever, my mind is 100% clear.

It’s the most profound moment I’ve ever had. A true Zen moment. 100% aware.

I see myself completely.

I just spent the last hour getting overwhelmingly dominated in Muay Thai kickboxing by the current world champion.

I’ve never felt so helpless…and I love it.

I’ll spend the next 30 minutes in a perfectly clear state of mind.

Like a zombie. Just staring at the wall. Unable and unwilling to move an inch.

It’s a natural high I can never fully explain.

The window into myself is impossible to close now and I’ll never see the world the same way again.

I’ll never NOT succeed.
I’ll never TRULY fail again.
I’ll be the best I can be from now on.
I’ll be stronger than I ever imagined.
I’ll be a leader and not a follower.
I’ll persevere no matter how hard the test.

This my friend, is why I truly believe you should get punched in the face…repeatably.

Let me explain.

Several months ago I did part one of a series I titled, “How To Stop Being A Loser.”

In case you missed it: Click here to see Part 1

That series was intended to be a wake up call and a call to action.

My intention was to move people off dead center to a place where they finally realize their dreams.

Life and business intervened and I never got around to doing Part Two.

So this is it…
How To Stop Being A Loser – Part 2
(aka “Why You Should Get Punched In The Face”)

In the months since Part 1 I’ve had one of the best years of my life and simultaneously, one of the worst.

I’ve made more money this year than in the previous ten but I’ve also failed in some catastrophic ways.

I let people down. I lifted people up.

I’ve helped many to succeed on levels they never imagined while leaving others in the dark…

…failing.

I under-delivered on promises I made to some while over-delivering on others.

It’s been an odd year. Many highs and many lows.

Through it all I’ve learned some amazing things.

One of them is…how to take a punch, literally AND figuratively.

Learning to take punches teaches you about yourself in ways you can never predict.

Yeah it hurts and it sucks for a bit but in the end you grow.
You learn lessons. You also learn how to move the hell out of the way!

In the figurative sense, learning to take a punch has taught me how to REALLY scale a business.

Since my goal is to do $100 million in the next year I’ve had to learn how to get there.
I had to get punched…a lot.

Yeah it sucked but you know what? I learned the exact things it takes to get to a $100 million business.

This series will reveal many of those steps and how you can learn from me getting punched.

In this series we’ll hear a few case studies to drive the points home.

-You’ll hear about Joe “The Builder.”
-You’ll learn about Jane “The Writer.”
-And finally about Jake “The Geek.”

All these stories will reveal everything you need to reach any goal you want in business and life.

Each story will increase your earning ability at least 10 fold.

Stay tuned,
Matt “Punching Bag” Trainer

P.S. I’m making some radical changes in the way I do business.
I’ve been punched enough and now I know how to reach the goals I’ve set for myself.

I’m going to start a contest where I pay you $1000 just for reading and learning from my changes.
It’s gonna take a small amount of work on your part but less than a few minutes.

More on this later.

To be continued…

In case you wanna know, here’s a link to my Muay Thai trainer Dave Nielsen. He’s the guy that regularly beats the crap out of me…and laughs.
