After some really interesting chat sessions with my friend Luke Jaten from PostcardProfits.com, we decided to do a series of videos detailing how Luke routinely, almost at will, makes $50,000 PER WEEK only working 2-3 hours a week.
To top it off Luke has no employees and up until very recently didn’t even have a website! His business model is INCREDIBLY simple. For example, he can make $50k/week with:
- No Website
- No Employees
- No JV Partners
- No Email List
- No Pay Per Click
- No SEO
- Nearly No Competition
- Only Working 2-3 hours Per Week
- Only A Few Hundred Dollars To Startup
To say his model blows me away is an understatement. The best part is that the worse the economy gets, the better his system works. Simply amazing.
So in this first video Luke lays the groundwork for the system by comparing offline marketing using postcards with online marketing using PPC. I was blown away how similar they are but his way is WAY easier, about 1000 times easier!

I did something like this when I was generating leads for property investors in the UK. Well, the toll free number and recorded voice message. Worked like a charm at £250 plus 1% of sale price!
Not to rain on your parade, but this is not new. It’s old-hat — Gary Halbert & Dan Kennedy style marketing. Halbert wrote extensively about renting mailing lists, sending postcards, and direct-mail marketing. He also wrote about the many ways you can get screwed by list brokers when renting mailing lists. What the video doesn’t address is:
1. How much is your initial investment? Around $500 for the mailing list — plus postage costs, printing costs, and costs for the postcards themselves. Probably brings the total minimum investment to around $800-$1,000.
2. You need to have a solid offer that you know converts well. Otherwise, you are flushing $$ down the drain.
3. You need to have a solid product that satisfies customers.
4. You need to have solid copywriting skills to create a postcard (and phone message) that generates a decent response.
In other words, this is a good idea, but only for experienced marketers with money to play with. This is not for beginners, and probably shouldn’t be marketed as such.

Michelle you couldn’t be more wrong. For one, I never said it was new. I said it was NOT USED NOW because everyone has flocked to the internet. Now the internet marketing space is so crowded it’s VERY hard to compete without very specialized knowledge. So, the old has become new again!
Also, postcard marketing is VERY cheap compared to PPC. Have you run a PPC campaign in Google lately for keywords like “make money” or “lose weight”? You can lose thousands in a matter of hours without some massive testing and VERY GOOD systems in place. PPC is no longer a place for beginners. You can start a profitable postcard project for about $500. Do that with ANY other form of marketing!
Believe me, this is now a NEW way to market that has nearly no competition and is WAY easier to make money than ANY other form of marketing. Believe me, I do it all and I’ve never seen it so sweet as this.
It’s so simple to make money with Luke’s system, it’s DEFINITELY for beginners. But just like anything else, there has to be training to do it the right way. Luke has many students who have never done any form of marketing ever and have very profitable businesses right out of the gate.
Just because you’ve read about something before doesn’t mean it’s not the latest and greatest way to make money. Everything is cyclical and offline marketing is now the new fertile ground. This is the real deal.

Keep that fertile mind open Michelle. There is a huge opportunity here for those that take advantage of it.

I only have one question: Why would Luke want to share this info and effectively dilute his mailings ability to convert?
I guess it’s all good as long as you don’t live in the same area as him or target the same mailing list with essentially the same product category.

This is a completely new course we are doing about how to do offline marketing with online marketing spun in.
Luke’s licenses went for $5000 and included resale rights and personal coaching from Luke.
This new course will not include resell rights and will be WELL under $1000.
Simply put, this NOT the Postcard Profits course nor the license to resell Postcard Profits.
It’s a completely new course.

Hey Matt,
This is excellent! With everyone glued to their cell phone and pulling that enticing postcard out of the mailbox, they could be dialing an 800 number by the time they walk through the front door of their homes. A somewhat exaggerated scenario but if you have pre-qualified market from a list of people who have bought in that market, it would be in front of them before they even went online to do a search. The potential here is enormous.

Anyway, want to compliment you on your site, and all the great
info, I loved the postcard videos, and just bit the bullet and
got both the course and the ready made product campaign, to say
that I am “stoked” is putting it mildly.
You and Paul Newman, errr uhhh Cool Hand Luke, did a marvelous
job of presenting this with very little fan fare. I hate the
phrase “product launch” and all the hype that follows, you two
did it the right way, and kept your integrity intact.
I was worried about having to test the product/postcard and you
guys removed that fear, because now I have a pretested one ready
to go. It was almost like you read my mind.
My only worry now is picking the right one out of 3 … Hmmmm,
I feel an anxiety attack coming on…LOL

I got a card in the mail from Luke, “Dead-Broke to $50,000 a Week” and I called the number. The guy answering the phone said that if I paid the $299.95 up front I would qualify for a license from Luke and could have a program that was “ready to go”. Please let me know whether this is correct or not.
Also, I have looked at all 5 videos, but don’t feel qualified to come up with a “winner” right off the bat if the license is not available.

Unfortunately I just found this information. I did watch all the videos and found myself nodding my head in agreement at your and Luke’s take about offline marketing.
I’m already a fairly accomplished Internet marketer and have gone through Frank’s Mass Control, Altitude, PLF, Stompernet and several other courses and seminars. In fact, I also live in San Diego and you and I have chatted in person at one of Frank’s events.
Two years ago I bought Alex Mondossian’s postcard product with the intention of getting into offline marketing. His product was a great tickler, but not very in depth; not as detailed as this program appears to be.
I understand this product is closed out but will you guys do another launch? More importantly, what does it take to become an apprentice with Luke and work with him personally?
I know you’re busy and I would be very grateful to hear from you on this post or an email. Thank you very much.

Matt, I just finished Lukes set of cd’s. Was not sure if I should send them back or listen one more time. I opted for listening again, I then found your video clip and watched it. BOOM! it clicked.
