Justin Bieber Cuts His Hair!

by Matt Trainer on December 17, 2010

Wow, how the US has made an ass of itself! It continues to prove we aren’t worth saving.justin bieber rules!

The economy is imploding to historic levels (maybe never to return), Korea is on the brink of war, soldiers and innocents are dying in Irag over oil and all the media can come up with is that Justin Bieber cut his hair?????!!!!!

It’s a sad state of affairs.

I’m also distressed about the fact that I’m being proven right in my “We are Doomed” series of videos. The Wall Street Journal just did a story on exactly what I’ve been talking about. Here’s the link:
Wall Street Journal Says Matt Is Right! :)

I’m also a bit distressed with the lower readership of my email broadcasts. So, I’m gonna do something completely new that also fits with my ideas of where the Internet is heading.

I firmly believe that internet marketing is headed to a much harder place to work for the small guy. You really have to know how to build buzz these days and create a following.

All this automated blogging, massive amounts of new crap content every day and coupled with the ability for any idiot with a cell phone to make garbage videos – is slowly making all this more and more irrelevant.

We are starting to lack the filters to keep out the crap. Our friends are the ultimate filter thus the rise of Facebook, Twitter and other social marketing sites. But what happens when your friends post nothing but what they are eating or what concert they are at? Who cares?????

So, my blog and email list are going to make a change. I’m going to actively try to be a filter for all the crap and help people succeed and create happiness.

In short, I want to be like Zappos and “Deliver Happiness”. (You should read that book if you haven’t yet. Click here to get it.)

Plus I’m sick of full on marketing messages. Life should be about having fun, creating value while helping others.

So, start watching for much more content from me and my goofy, opinionated videos.

I’m looking for as much information as possible on as vast a range as I can find regarding internet marketing, such as click-through campaigns and Google adwords campaigns. If anyone can direct me to the most detailed and wide-ranging websites, I’d be much obliged.
