About Me

My name is Matt Trainer and I am a marketing moron. Why do I say that? I have spent over $100,000 on every kind of marketing book, course, seminar, etc. that you can imagine.

After spending that much money I have definitely learned a ton but the thing that makes me a moron is in the application of all I’ve learned. I spent two years learning but didn’t do nearly enough to follow through on what I learned. Sure I started a bunch of sites but never really tried to build something lasting. Plus I realized that I pretty much suck at marketing.

I have worked for years as a high end Flash developer doing large projects for MTV, The Oxygen Network, World Poker Tour, and Dr. Phil. I did design and development for all their websites etc. It pays great and is mostly fun to do. But ultimately I was still an employee (though I do work from home).

After a friend of mine died at the young age of 33, I had a wake up call. It was time to get off my ass and do something with all the knowledge I’ve gained. Now you can see how it all plays out here in my blog.

I am already very successful on the Internet and generate seven figures a year from home. Starting this blog is my way to try to teach what I know and to further my learning and success.

Stay tuned to see how the hell I do this stuff. I’ll teach you everything I know along the way.

Matt,

Nice pics. You said many times throughout the slide presentation that your wife is “Hot”. Please, no disrespect to Lydia but she is “Super Hot”.

Matt,
Thanks for sharing a small part of your life. I think its good to see that successful internet people are not just about money and untouchable. Good to see your a real dude just like the rest of us.
This is cool and I hope to learn a lot from you.
I dont have a clue what I’m doing, I guess thats a good place to start…!!!!
I can relate some, what you said about learning but not doing. I get overwhelmed with what I dont understand but Im determined to keep going. I may be an idiot but I;m a smart idiot.
If anyone else reads this and your not sure if you can do…. well be like me and “DO IT ANY WAY”…!!!
Kind Regards
Tommy

Are you Open to an Interview about your Story & Internet Marketing??

I’m interviewing top Experts for my membership site, Fit Rich Life.

I have a list of questions ready to rock n roll…this would be less than an hour of your time and more promotion through my members area of 1,000+ members once we launch December 1st, 2008. It’s going to be a huge launch!

Enthusiastically,

Dude, I gotta tell ya…I am THRILLED to find your site! I have been floundering around on-line for over a year now; have stumbled into (fallen for) all kinds of crap…Finally getting a handle on it; learning to tell garbage from gold. And you are GOLD, brother! I’m 50 years old, and this was all new to me. The Internet reminds me of what the great Will Rogers once said about Television, (Which of course was invented or came into being when he was already a big radio and sometimes movie star). Qoute: “At first I thought that TV was a vast waste-land. But now I see that I was wrong about that. Turns out, it is only half-vast”. (Get it; half-assed?).

Anyway, thanks for the great stuff and honesty. Yeah, I did just apply to work for you. Looking forward to the experience. And by the way, I only turn on the TV late at night, while eating usually, when I’m too tired to do anything else.

Long, long ago I knew this cool kid named Matt who was super artistic, and crazy as hell. I even remember one day when he fearlessly rode rode my three wheeler straight up a chat pile .

Have you ever heard of such a man?

Edit from Matt:
I’ve heard of that dude!
He’s weird though.
Hope you run into him someday. :)

Hey Matt,

>I have worked for years as a high end Flash developer
>doing large projects

Dude, did you say this or did I?

>It pays great and is mostly fun to do. But ultimately I was >still an employee

Dude, did you say this or did I? Nothing quite like realizing that if you don’t work you don’t get paid to turn a massive consulting rate into a golden hamsterwheel+chain.

> (though I do work from home)

Dude did you say this or did I? .. sometimes that commute can be be a beotch! when the floor is cold and slipper missing.

>..something died..I had a wake up call

Dude did you say this or did I?

Seriously been involved involved with Flash for a long time, still fun still consult/present when I bother to shave and put together a presentation. http://www.troyworks.com,

But after having several companies limp along/die (an internet company with no clue about the internet..! millions in development, zero on marketing), knew that wasn’t working well. Plus hitting career threatening health issues of my own knew that I had to change gears completely.

But it’s great to be able to live in both worlds. Like recently created a pitch project for a cartoon preloader for Kern
http://www.troynotes.com/ubb3/frankster/

Living in the flash community made it easy.

Matt,

I’m not the kind of person who would like to build a list. I’m 62 years old and I have had a lot of personal tragedy in the past six years and would like to keep my anonymity. So what I’m trying to say is that I have no interest in Frank’s list building system. I would have purchased the magic bullet system except the price was way out of my affordable range.

What I’m trying to say here is that I would like to be one of your beta testers for your Oh Sh%t Operation and gladly pay you whatever your commission would have been from my purchase of Frank’s List Control. Once I’m making money from your Oh Sh%t video system I will gladly purchase the magic bullet system from your link.

Hey Matt,

I just look at your slides and think WOW, what a fantastic life you have and I KNOW you have worked for that and you deserve it all. It makes me happy to know that people really do make money from IM.

I have working my business for nearly 3 years now and I make a bit, I have a few sites that are on No.2 on Google but it just isn’t the level of what I want.

You are amazing man, I think what you have done is phenomenal and I feel I am like you in a way. I did F’UKN MLM for 6 years thinking I was going to make it, The Dream is Everything, I still cling to that frame of mind.

Anyway, it is a hard journey, I saw you sitting there in front of the comp and I saw myself in the same position that my family must see me in, oh well, I will keep working and I love your philosophy “Think Big and Kick Ass” I really want to do your business model but I have to save up for it, will you be reopening it sometime?

Thanks Matt, from Aussie Dave, all the best man.

Edit from Matt:
Thanks for the compliments.
Just keep working and you’ll get there!
My program is open now still but closes in a couple weeks.
Matt

Dave August 4, 2010 at 1:29 am

Thanks Matt, I appreciate that you even responded, I hope you relaunch the program because it is the old saying, “You need money to make money” so that’s cool, I am working to get some so I hope I can do something before the Fortune 500′s get there way

I do believe that, I appreciate your time, your information and just the way you are man, I really relate to you.

Thank you more than you know.

Dave

Hi Matt,

Sorry to have to ask this here but I needed to get some more info please.

Thanks for responding to my comments on your blog.
You said that you have the course open for couple weeks longer, I have 2 questions please.

1. Can you pay the second and third installment back to you once you
are making money from the system?

If we are going to be making some good money with this system I wonder if it will allow us
to pay it back within that time frame, I don’t want to miss out on it, I want to be one of
your testimonials for your membership course but I can’t upfront $5000 but I
can do the first installment then pay the balance in earned income gladly,
I REALLY don’t want to miss this course.

2. What extra costs are needed to do the course? Full Costs Please

You mention outsourcing to the Phils and Johns course, so I want to know
once we pay for the initial part payment, how do we start with everything
and what is needed to do the business?

If you would be kind enough to let me know the answers above I can see if I can get the wheels
turning some how.

It would be the ultimate man to be able to complete this course, I love your ideas
and that business model.

I have been working at being a success in business for over 10 years, it is happening but to
slowly so now and I see this working for me.

I have a good work ethic but need a real business model that works and I will just DO IT.

Thanks Matt for any help.

Aussie Dave

Edit from Matt:
Sorry can’t do that.
It would be really unfair to those that have paid up front.
Just follow the free training. It’s a complete system.
Make some money then come back when you are ready.
I’ll hold a spot open for you.
Matt

Dave August 6, 2010 at 2:06 am

Thanks for answering Matt,
I do appreciate the response and that situation, when are the payments needed by? really

The free training is awesome but to I like to be honest ,you
have the contacts in Media buys to max it,and I want to know
what additional costs are involved, I want get it done man.

If you can tell me the how much roughly the additional
costs are I will know the whole package. I respect you and where you have come from with all this.
I don’t want to come back I want to do it now.
I want to have my name as a success in your testimonials.
I have never had my name as a success anywhere
but I want my family to know I am finally. thanks Matt

From Matt:
The payments are 3 payments 30 days apart so 3 months total.
You CAN do this. It’s ALL mindset!
Do the free training. JUST DO IT! TAKE ACTION!
Matt
