About Me

My name is Matt Trainer and I am a marketing moron. Why do I say that? I have spent over $100,000 on every kind of marketing book, course, seminar, etc. that you can imagine.

After spending that much money I have definitely learned a ton but the thing that makes me a moron is in the application of all I’ve learned. I spent two years learning but didn’t do nearly enough to follow through on what I learned. Sure I started a bunch of sites but never really tried to build something lasting.

I have worked for years as a high end Flash developer doing large projects for MTV, The Oxygen Network, World Poker Tour, and Dr. Phil. I did design and development for all their websites etc. It pays great and is mostly fun to do. But ultimately I was still an employee (though I do work from home).

After a friend of mine died at the young age of 33, I had a wake up call. It was time to get off my ass and do something with all the knowledge I’ve gained. Now you can see how it all plays out here in my blog.

I am already pretty successful on the Internet and make six figures a year from home. Starting this blog is my way to try to teach what I know and to further my learning and success.

Stay tuned to see how the hell I do this stuff. I’ll teach you everything I know along the way.

    Matt,

Nice pics. You said many times throughout the slide presentation that your wife is “Hot”. Please, no disrespect to Lydia but she is “Super Hot”.

Dude, I gotta tell ya…I am THRILLED to find your site! I have been floundering around on-line for over a year now; have stumbled into (fallen for) all kinds of crap…Finally getting a handle on it; learning to tell garbage from gold. And you are GOLD, brother! I’m 50 years old, and this was all new to me. The Internet reminds me of what the great Will Rogers once said about Television, (Which of course was invented or came into being when he was already a big radio and sometimes movie star). Qoute: “At first I thought that TV was a vast waste-land. But now I see that I was wrong about that. Turns out, it is only half-vast”. (Get it; half-assed?).

Anyway, thanks for the great stuff and honesty. Yeah, I did just apply to work for you. Looking forward to the experience. And by the way, I only turn on the TV late at night, while eating usually, when I’m too tired to do anything else.

Long, long ago I knew this cool kid named Matt who was super artistic, and crazy as hell. I even remember one day when he fearlessly rode rode my three wheeler straight up a chat pile .

Have you ever heard of such a man?

    Edit from Matt:
    I’ve heard of that dude!
    He’s weird though.
Hope you run into him someday. :)
